1. what is an Open Badge
Badge is a symbol or indicator of a skill or competence.
Open badge differs from a digital badge in a way they can be used to recognise personal competences learned or achieved by informal learning for example in a voluntary work. They can be used as a boundary objects between education, work and volyntary work.

A badge can be earned by showing one's competence on criteria for badges just like I do with this post. The link for this text will be a part of the badge so when someone checks my badge, he can read this text.

4. where badges can be displayed
Badges can be displayed in owner's LinkedIn, FB- , Google + -or Twitter-profile and of course a link for a collection can be a part of CV.

he earner of the badge has gained this knowledge by participating in a webinar or workshop organised by the Open badges for Adult Educators Nordplus Project. https://openbadge.wordpress.com/
